A Masters Graduate – MA in Public Policy graduate ( Swansea University) with the dissertation “Does social networking affect the way policy is created or implemented in wales?”, achieving a  Merit pass

A graduate of BA History and Politics, achieving a Second Class (division one) classification – a.k.a 2:1 .

I am a member of the Welsh Labour Party and it’s sister Party – The Co-Operative Party .

I have a keen interest in the Welsh,UK , American and Irish political systems alongside general current affairs.

I am also interested/”specialised” in many topics but more so on environmental ,Youth politics -children’s rights and participation,  equality, governmental actions/ decisions and generally discussing current affairs of the day.

An area I can specialise in =Comparative elections – contains much of the contentious issues about who should vote and how elections are administered.

I am a Proud Supporter of proving the Vote to 16yrs+  and I am a member of the coalition

  • Wales Outreach Officer for UKYCC (UK Youth Climate Coalition)
  • NUS Wales Students With Disabilities Officer
  • Welsh Youth Forum For Sustainable Development (WYFSD)
  • School Governor at a Newport School

Past involvement in

  • Internship at the National Assembly for Wales with Ann Jones AM (2010)
  • Freshers, Undergraduate, Environment and Ethics Officer and Postgraduate Officers (2008-12)
  • Department for Energy and Climate Change Youth Advisory Panel (one of 15 young people) [2010-12]
  • Yes For Wales -Newport Campaign Co-ordinator -where the result was highly successful with a 2779  majority vote (Jan 2011-March2011)
  • Newport Youth Council 2003 – 2011
  • Funky Dragon -Children’s and Young Peoples’ Assembly for Wales 2004-2008, represented Funky Dragon both nationally and internationally.
  • Commonwealth Events – Commonwealth Day 2008- met and spoke to the Queen.
  • Spoke in the House of Lords as part of a debate during the Commonwealth Youth Parliamentary proceedings (Sept 2011)
  • MYP  Representative for Wales on the United Kingdom Youth Parliament (UKYP) 2005-2007
